Woah!

So, it's been a while. I missed you bloggers!! How has life been without me? Fine I'm sure.

Since the last time I wrote an actual post (because I just realized I hadn't posted one from march until today haha) much has come to pass. I completed my second year of University with pretty good grades, I have started a healthy dating relationship with someone unexpected, and have become a salsa dancer extraordinaire! OK maybe not extraordinaire, but I'm working on it. I am a bit dissappointed that I am working almost full-time all summer, because I wanted at least 1 or 2 more years of a real summer break... C'est la vie. Make that money, right?

This is a random late night/ early morning post, in case you can't tell, sooooooo I'ma be random with it, because its my blog! haha.

IT'S THE FRIGGIN SUMMER!!! June gloom was really intense this year in the greater Los Angeles area, I am intensely grateful that it is, for the most part, over.
The Lakers are the Champs bitches!!! Not a huge basketball fan, but it was exciting for LA in general. Pretty bummed I missed the final game, but i was at my brother's band showcase/ concert which was more important and pretty friggin awesome.
His new band is unnamed for the time being but stay tuned for the name and upcoming gigs, they are pretty awesome nd woodstock-ish. I love their band, and it's not just because my super cool brother is in it, trust me.
The Hangover is probably one of the funniest films of all time, no lie. I went in thinking I would hate it and all the funny moments were thrown into the trailers, but it was actually side splitting. I think I burned off a days worth of calories just laughing. I would share my favorite quotes page in regards to the movie, but I will let you discover them for yourselves.
Dating is awesome, you should try it! haha. Amazingly a lot of what I learned on Tough Love (yes I'm super lame for watching a reality series religiously, but it's over now so calm down) has helped tremendously and is super true. If you missed the series a new one is in the making and I'm sure Steve is writing a book with all of his gems of knowledge so check it out. Steve Harvey's books about dating are also pretty accurate, just fyi.
Currently I am obsessed with Esperanza Spalding, she is a phenomenal musician who makes beautiful full-bodied music. Also the Fleet Foxes are a groovy band, go check them out. o and Holly Conlan, Charlene Soraia, Lex Land and Rosi Golan are also super awesome.
I am getting tired of posting randomness, mainly because I am starting to get on a 'normal' sleep schedule and get tired around 1230 or 1 if I'm lucky, so i should go get ready for bed before I pass out.

Hope you have a fantastic weekend!! and I will try to stay updated on my posts now that I have a bit more time. Ciao amores!
