My beloved 'cuñada' is heading off to college this week too! I just skyped her and had a very long convo about dark chocolate haha. So I'm excited for her as she moves into this next stage of life, and hoping my littlest brother Monkey takes it well. Gabriel is also heading back to college this next week for his Sophomore year! It's crazy how fast that went. But I pray that they both have safe trips and a great time.
I just finished watching the Princess Bride, which is such a great movie. I forget every time. So this post is made even more random through media distractions. I apologize in advance.
Gloominess and seriousness of life aside, this week was pretty hilarious. Arely really does keep life interesting. Daily life is a comedy show haha. I posted a video of some of her shenanigans on the vlog if you wish to witness a glimpse. Hopefully she can change her flight and come visit us all in LA for her 21st birthday week! We shall see. And we attended an "Everything But a Cup" party which was extremely amusing. The girls and I brought spray bottles filled with our beverages of choice (water for yours truly... shocker! haha) while others brought sand castle buckets, hard hats, hollow baseball bats, piggy banks, ketchup bottles, Pimp cups, jam jars, baby baths with laddles, etc., you get the idea. It was a really great idea for a party, but drinking parties aren't my scene so it started to get boring after about an hour or so. I also have spent a good amount of time discussing superpowers, deep-sea chickens, cryogenic freezers/ defrosters, levels of awkward turtles and other (equally important) random topics with my friend Dan, aka Ming Tien from Xena Warrior Princess hahaha.

Needless to say Dan is pretty awesome. Today he imparted me with the spankin' new proverb of superheroes: "Your superpowers are but a dim reflection of your true potential."Deep... Arely actually just got back from watching movies at his place and has wrapped herself in her sleeping bag on our couch and would like to let the world know that, "Sleeping bags are so amazing!! You don't even know!" True story.
OK this is really just an update to let you all know that I am alive. I really am sorry for the convoluted sequencing of topics and events. Love you all, hope to skype with you soon. Stay safe, I'm praying for you guys!
