Developing Green

Below is a great article from the Economist about how development and "growing green" do not have to be separated and are not reserved for companies who can afford 'luxury.' I think that it's an inspiring article but am also a bit skeptical on reporting of green companies. You just never know if this is the only thing being reported on and, as the author claims, companies are doing apparent 'good' by being green to cover over a multitude of wrongs. Nonetheless, looking into expanding existing green development models and creating new ones is an exciting idea. And the fact that not all of these decisions are being made by the higher-ups in the company is very interesting, and gives the employees a greater sense of proprietorship in the company and it's future, contributing to stability and growth in a company. Well at least that's my take on it.

But knock yourself out, read the article, give your feedback. Have an awesome week!
