My face has been glued to a screen for the past 16 hours.
Seriously I'm surprised my eyes haven't fallen out of my head. ESPN should pay me for all of the hours I have spent with their programming. Professional Football. College Football. Baseball. Highlight reels. Obscure sports. RWC 2011. Boxing. EVERYTHING! I mean the latter two were obviously not on ESPN because they consider NASCAR and golfing to be more of a sport than boxing or rugby. I need to have a talk with someone about that. But anyways. Back to sports.
Rugby World Cup 2011 is phenomenal!!! I wish that I didn't have to watch every game after midnight, but it's worth it. I am obviously pulling for the Amazing All Blacks, rooting against Australian Wallabies (they're called the wallabies, how seriously can you take them??) and the underdogs in all other situations.
Football. I love you. But there is a point of over saturation that no one can handle you. It all just blends together after 4 games in one day. I still love you, buuuut maybe it's time we take a break? It's not you, it's me. And my NCAA team is not doing phenomenally well, with the exception of today. Pats are killing it though!! Brady continues to impress me every week. Laser like passing skillzzzzz. How is your team doing? All 2 of you that read this thing...
Baseball and I kind of broke up last year. We're attempting to reconcile right now, but my darlings are not making it easy for me. Angel's are constantly a game or 2 behind in the AL West, Cubs are a constant heartbreak, you know... it's hard out there for a pimp. But I love the game, and I'm happy to watch it at anytime. (aka Angels tickets are appreciated tokens of charity)
Everything said, I feel really guilty for spending long amounts of time watching sports while working on random odd jobs throughout the day, since being back from Kenya. I don't really know how to curb that guilty feeling, but I do know that I need to cut down on my sports time, so maybe that will help.
Well peoples my brain hurts. So I am gonna wrap this up. Much love. May God bless the rest of your weekend and week! Stay safe.
O and be sure to steer clear of any Mayweathers out there. You might get punched while you dish out a hug.
